translationsfast was set up in Osnabruck in 2015. The name is not a tagline, it is a description of what we actually do. We built the agency around the idea that speed and quality are not a trade-off if your systems are designed properly.
Lower Saxony is an industrial region. Machinery, logistics, automotive supply chains, manufacturing documentation. Our early client base shaped the agency. We became specialists in technical content because that was what the local market needed, and it turned out to be good preparation for everything else that followed.
We operate with a lean coordination structure and a network of specialist translators matched to content type and language pair. No generalists on technical content. No junior translators on legal text. The matching is the work.
How we work
Every assignment goes to a translator whose background matches the content. Technical content to translators with engineering background. Legal text to translators with legal training. Video content to someone who understands subtitle timing and reading speed.
For every client we maintain a running terminology document. On each follow-on project, the existing terminology is reviewed and updated as needed. This saves time and keeps tone consistent.
We hold ISO 17100 accreditation for professional translation services. All translators are contractually bound to confidentiality.
