Machine translation has improved significantly. It still produces characteristic errors: false cognates, awkward collocations, wrong register, inconsistent terminology and idioms that do not transfer. Post-editing is the discipline of correcting these efficiently, and doing it faster than translating from scratch.
We offer two levels: light post-editing, which corrects critical errors and ensures the text reads correctly; and full post-editing, which brings the translation to the same standard as a human-produced translation. For technical and legal content, full post-editing is usually required.
We also review translations produced by other agencies or in-house teams. If you have a translation you are not fully confident in, send us a sample and we will assess it without charge before you commit to a full review project.
Light post-editing of up to 3,000 words delivers same-day in most cases. Full post-editing follows standard translation timelines.
